Description
Wind, snow, ice and rain all do their part in breaking down the Earth's landforms; but, the largest destructor of them all are 'lichens' - a simple plant consisting of a fungus living in close association with algae growing on rock. Lichens break down rock with their enzymes leaving sand and dust in their path.
