Description

Been doing some late night photography lately. Included in the image are: The moon, Mars, Uranus, Saturn, Pleiades Cluster (upper right), and the Orion Nebula (lower left). All images were taken with a Nikon D100 through a telescope. I discovered several things with this project: 1) I don't have enough images for a proper collage. 2) I stink at doing collages no matter how many images I have. 3) I need to collimate my telescope. Anyway, thanks for looking. Comments are always valued.

Most people never get to see heavenly bodies like this up close, so these pictures are wonderful indeed. I can't believe that Uranus shows up so clear and bright! It would be cool to see some spiral galaxies in some future submissions as well, if there's any in the sky the next few weeks that are bright enough.

Oh wow, fantastic collage of these celestial objects! You're definitely doing better than me when putting my cam-stuff to the utmost as I showed sometime ago! Excellent work, very original!

What do you mean by "I stink at doing collages"? What you've done here is pretty good, no problem for me! I guess you must have a very powerful telescope to get a picture of Orion like this! Great!
