Your husband told you HE had died???? Or that the Folon-guy had died? Oooooh...Michel also said something about this artist passing...phew...i thought for a second that your husband had...would be mighty hard for him to tell you that then wouldnt it....bla bla bla. A sad day it is. Wonderful capture of this cool looking statue/creation. Have a wonderful weekend Mary. #:O)

Hello Mary ! As I wrote to cajolargo, it's great to know that others on this site share my sadness about the departure of this great Belgian artist ! For my tribute, see : [http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1072650 ] I really like your "man with the hat" capture and will for sure pay him a visit next time I'll be in StMaartem Lathem (my patent attorney is located there...) :~)

Wow, don't know what to say to the story. The photo however is a tribute to the artist, as the light is just right to see the piece in volume and design.

the sculpture he made is so beautiful...and your photo is wonderful! i love the lighting and shadows, Mary! What a weird feeling that must have been to have been walking by this man's artwork, admiring it, taking photographs of it, and then a few hours later find out he just died. terribly sad. at least this man has left behind a legacy and the spirit of who he is can be see and felt by those who study his art. i would love to see more images of his artwork! I so much enjoy this image, Mary!!!

Gros gros bisous tristounets.
