Accidentle catch while fishing in Malibu CA.! not a collage or montag-e strait shot just a fly by point and shoot didnt have enough time to focus or relearn my new cam, and ran across from the the pier fast to shoot this . wish it was sharper but it was the best I could come up with in a real hurried attempt!
This Mexican fisher man Accidentaly caught this little dangaling starfish guy on the malibu pier . he was tossed back ..
I had fun making a little face on him, like hes saying "
PUT ME BACK pleaaaase!!! _!!!!oh noooo I am a star!!! dont eat me its that codfish you want !!"
Ok off to the zoo .. its gloomy out ..hope it dosn't rain!! kids are waiting , " COM ON MOM your on that SITEeee AGAIN" - LOL!!!

i wish it was better in focus too..only shot i took of it and i had TO act fast!- run over from across the pier really fast and shot this before he threw it back , i didnt want the poor little fellow to die.. plus, i had just got my cam 30 minutes before and forgot how to use it on close up lol...thank you!

Very original composition as always ! and a terrible story of this little starfish.... But that often happens in place where there are... The important is to not killed them and to send them to the ocean ! I could imagine how frightened this little guy has been ;o))))) You've made a so beautiful composition and postwork Kimmers. Did this little star offer to sign autographs? If not, I hope they tossed his five appendages back into the sea.Did you know that if you cut off one of the arms it will grow back?..Star fish are cool that way..excellent grab Kimmers..not the best focus job but the pic still works...so that's what a starfish face looks like..cute little sucker..

He hee I see the face too. Great shot you took, Love the sky and colors. I did the very same thing Kimmer when I first got my camera. Was taking close up of flowers but they were all fuzzy and all around in the flat leaves look great and that was because I was using the all auto setting.

Hilarious! Point and shoot or not, this is one of those shots that you rarely stumble upon. Right time, right place kinda thing. You have an excellent picture here. Love that sky. It seems to have rubbed off on the star fish too. lol.
