Description

The archetype of the shadow - in the depths of darkness is where you'll find the gold...I drew this particular piece at a period in my life when I was in denial of a certain situation... I sketched the image during a coffee break at a job I had waiting tables in a nameless chain restaurant down in Tucson,AZ... Although I later made the sketch into a colorful acrylic painting, I've always admired the original black and white - there is a particular movement of energy involved that appeals to me. This is a variation of the original... Originally created with ball-point pen on paper. I then scanned it into my iMac and used Photoshop 7 to rework and tweek...
