Halloween showdown -or- Draw your gun Vicky! Vicky knew there would be trouble when the dispatcher sent her to the abandon biotech lab with no backup . . . Just a quick render playing with my new DAZ PC V2 model. Not many blue Halloween renders out there, now there is one more. Credits: Daz Victoria2, Pia V2 texture by Lisbeth, & Koz Long Evo hair. Axeye's excellent & moody "Shatter Wall" background. Gnom Stone Elemental by Stefan Leng aka Quinlor Pants, hoster, gun & glasses SWAT by BV Harkonnon Helmet based on P4 bike helmet by NW at HT3Dplus Liquid Blood splatters by Odd Ditty Foundry Lattice by J. Kurz and Flashlight by Pretty3D Rendered 100% in Daz Studio 1.0 with one distant light (sorry, no shadows) and one spot for the flashlight. All comments welcome, Mcv

Really wish I had spent more time making a frame around the mesh by the monster to match the backgroun grill, brightened up the flashlight beam somehow, and faked shadows with postwork. I do not know how to make DAZ Studio cast shadows on a background, I think the only way is make the backgroun an image map on a plane/thin cube, but if lights and this surface are not angled in the right relationship, shadows will be wrong. Yet if the surface is angle to much, background will distort. Thus even this method limits our freedom to create the scenes we often imagine. Thanks for the kind encouragement! Happy Halloween, Mcv
