Description

Cork Man -or- Why don't my models sell? This was fun to make, but many kindergardener's could most likely do better on the 3D modeling. I now respect thoses that really can model & rig a 3D model much more! Credits: All original junk . . . Cork Man 3D model with joints Cork Man texture created via TesselSphere Background created from original Elastic model Color by Pepto-Bismaclone 100% Daz Studio 1.0 render This model could not have been made wityhout the total misuse of Japperdoggy's (aka T. D. Willis) excellent tutorials on creating Poser/Daz models with Anim8or, UVmapper, and Phibuilder. Viewers should surpress all gagging and must provide their barf bags. Laughs optional, but are appreciated greatly over rotten tomatoes. All comments welcome, Mcv

This character is almost photo realistic compared to the usual crap done in daz or poser. I think you should now consider maybe a horse, and a tree.

Cyba_Storm - LOL! . . . kodewarrior1 - Wink, wink! Here is the web link for the Anim8or tutorial "misused" to make the Cork Guy model: http://www.jabberdoggy.com/Tutorials/Gingerbread/GBMatrix.html It is a clever, clear, and well done tutorial and shares no blame for the flaws in Cork Guy. But be warned there are several steps and a lot of tools used. It could get addictive be able to make your own "quality!?" 3D model when ever you need one. Mcv

Seems that you started with a very difficult model and the results is really not bad at all! It would maybe bring something more if you would add a face to the texture. Jacques

Well, I think he's cute! I love the texture you used on him - and not just the color, but the bump too. Cool looking background. Today Cork Man, tomorrow... Cork Woman? He does look kinda lonely. ;)
