Description

I want to dedicate this image to two wonderful friends I've made here: jif3d and Anglesinger. Jeff (jif3d) has given me lots of suggestions and encouragement, he has a wonderful LightWave adventure going on in his gallery involving a very charming (and occasionally violent) young woman named Syd. Make sure you start at the beginning of the story and have plenty of popcorn! You can see the charming Syd in action at http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Y&Artist=jif3d Angelsinger is just starting out with her Gallery here at R'osity, but she does wonderful Vue settings and backgrounds and has the most interesting and delightful character. She talked me into doing my background in Vue! Check out her Gallery at http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=Angelsinger You can see more of her work at her website: http://larashots.com This little render took a g'zillion hours (actually only maybe 400) because of the radiosity. I tried following the sage advice of some of the Lightwavers and not use it, but I like the G2 skin tools and G2 really sucks at area light ray-traced shadows. I love the LightWave radiosity, all except for the time it takes, and a simpler hair model will bring that way down! Just like my last post (this is a closeup,) the character mesh is the Daz Unimesh, I did a custom morph for the head. The hair is by hmann, I've concluded it is a bit too complex to use with radiosity. The skin texture was perfect for what I wanted, so I used it with just a slight mod to the bump map and of course my own shading setup. Big HUGZ, Kylee Credits: Rusty for V3 by Morris and Mahna, Blonde Whisper Hair by hmann, Arched Terrace by Danie and Marforno, Unimesh from Daz3d.

WOW, Kylee a BIG THANX for the glowing report, I'm blushing already :o) ,your pic looks BRILL, a definite improvement...radiosity is great, but you need the patience of a Saint, to get the render you are trying to achieve. Your skin is magic, as to your hair... very realistic now!!! LOL & Cheer's :o)

KYLEE, I'm more than honored that you mentioned me here. ~ kisses and hugs! ~ You are absolutely beautiful! Your skin and hair are beautiful, beautiful! Great lighting too, it brings out your features devinely. Whose idea was it for you to stand where the light and shadow both play upon your face? It lends to the beauty of this image as a whole. I love the trees, too, softly out of focus, but clear enough to still see details on the leaves. A great addition to your gallery! TWO THUMBS WAY UP! :D
