"Procreation of the Wicked" By David J. Reid aka "Shardz" Software used: Poser 6, Vue 5, Photoshop CS *~* Dedicated To Axeye! *~* Within this community there are so many incredible artists who inspire us with their art, kind support, and wonderful friendship. One could spend a lifetime dedicating images to all the amazing people here, and I wish I had started this venture at age two! LOL! To so many of us, Rob is one of the best in a plethora of aspects; his outstanding art work, kind words and encouragement, and endless help and inspiration! I have visited some rather large galleries where he has attempted, if not succeeded, to make very insightful and wonderful comments on every image. He has helped so many here in a multitude of ways, and it

Hi David, I sat here for a long time taking in every detail of this image. In the contest the size of the images didn't do this image justice. It's gorgeous. I love the green lighting and mists. The dark forst behind her with those creepy trees. The grass, pantagon and those glowing eyes! This is really an outstanding peice of art. You should be very proud of it. I too will never EVER enter another community vote contest. This was terrible. I felt pretty good up until I began reading the posted complaints about this and that. Then I was wishing freverantly that I did not enter at all. I almost didn't enter and then decided to the last week and a half of the contest. My mother said always go with your first impulse. LOL I guess I never learn. Though one of mine did make the top 70 picks. Now I don't even feel good about that because of this whole fieasco. I'm wondering if there were even better images that got looked over by the way this whole thing was run and that perhaps I stole there spot. My image isn't all that wonderful. I didn't spend 90 hours, not even a week on it. I want you to know I think you're a winner in my eyes and that this is outstanding and really well thought out and just perfect. Super big Hugs Maria

Your artwork is always a "winner" and you never cease to amaze me with your talent. This scene is breath taking and filled with so many rich details it's hard to take it all in at once. You truly put your heart and soul into each image! You have my VOTE DJ....bravo!!

Yep, stayed far away from that contest. Even though it would have been nice to win first place, I'm not that popular! This is another testimony to your skill with rendering. I still think you use too much time, but to each his own! :) Your art is always astounding and inspiring to those who view it. Well done my friend.

a phenomenal composition, the colors are very vivid..the trees looks so evily twisted...the best part of the image is the character and it is one of the most detail characters i think i've seen here...you should definitely placed a lot higher than that...dont let it discourage you...an excellent piece of art..thanks for sharing with the community.

Wow David, this image is magnificent and I think that all these hours carried their fruits. To give my opinion, I think that it is necessary, above all, to find some pleasure in what we make, or we communicate, it is the key to success. My renders are more and more long to calculate and I am more and more require with myself, but you should not waste the pleasure, because finally we kill the creative spirit. I am naturally precise and the artists who chose this kind of tools to express himself are him also. Before of entered the numeric world, I drew women in the pencil. We can work on the basis of a photography to have all the time to look after details. We can also make pose the model, but there, the time is to count to make a maximum of knocks of pencil. The result is more spontaneous and loses of the precision, but it is not inferior. The time of realization is not important, but make cross the emotion, it is the assured success. Friendship Philippe

The amount of work that went into this super image clearly shows. That work is the fun part where your energy surges and grows and wanes when finished. Things like contests are merely after thoughts and the results of same matter even less if you have already had the intoxication of the creation. Great render David.

I got to see this in progress..and I know just how much work went into it. Your scenes are just so greatly detailed and I know my poor computer would puke trying to do what you do! Now about this scene: First I love the idea of a 6 armmed woman..the idea is just too cool. Second I love the fantastic lighting..the green glows...and the glowing eyes on those skulls..the posing is incredible...and I just love her expression!!!! Very beautiful work of art David!!! Huge ole vote and fav!!!

David, you are like a chef when it comes to rendering. No one uses as many different ingredients with as much excellence as you do.

Wow - what a spectacular image! You have managed to combine wickedness with extreme beauty. I just adore the colors and atmosphere, expecially that purple gnarly tree stuff. And your work on this six-armed woman is soooooooo creative and well done. Superb details so perfectly blended and super dedicaiton to Axeye. As for the contest, I haven't looked at it this year, but for what it's worth, this image is a winner and gets my vote. I never count the hours, only the results, and this artwork was worth every minute. :o) CC
