"Procreation of the Wicked" By David J. Reid aka "Shardz" Software used: Poser 6, Vue 5, Photoshop CS *~* Dedicated To Axeye! *~* Within this community there are so many incredible artists who inspire us with their art, kind support, and wonderful friendship. One could spend a lifetime dedicating images to all the amazing people here, and I wish I had started this venture at age two! LOL! To so many of us, Rob is one of the best in a plethora of aspects; his outstanding art work, kind words and encouragement, and endless help and inspiration! I have visited some rather large galleries where he has attempted, if not succeeded, to make very insightful and wonderful comments on every image. He has helped so many here in a multitude of ways, and it

What a phonomanal image. I can fully understand your frustration in a contest here. I too learned the hard way,it's very sad, and disheartning. You spend so many hours, and so much time creating, and the worst thing is when your entry doesn't even get an honorable mention. That is why I no longer do contests, challenges,or anything that has to do with winning anything.

David, this is one spectacular image. I am loving every little detail of it! I hate the community vote contests... It seems like one big popularity contest instead of an art contest. I had thought about entering because the prize list was incredible, but figured I'd be opening the door for the frustration that you are feeling now. Been there, done that.... I am sorry that you didn't fare better. This truly is an awesome image!

This is a beautiful piece, I have to admit that I was floored when I didn't see this in the semi-finals. You and I did chat behind the scenes about the contest and nothing has changed other than the fact that you get to exhibit this great piece of art!! Be proud you have created a magnificent work of art that was well worth the blood sweat and tears that have gone into it! ~James

I can see that you have spent so much time in putting this together, and i think its a shame that for the ammount of work and time spent on a creation such as this, it should have got a mention, hey, not to worry, i didnt get a mention either, so snap!! :)

Ah, David...such an amazing dedication to a truly amazing artist and individual. Rob's an all-around good-guy...one of the best. Nothing about this image is a "losing entry". Read the comments, my friend, and see how many people love and admire your work. This piece is a prime example of the magic you create. It's stunning and phenomenal work. The color and lighting alone are a visual feast, not to mention the creativity and excellence of the character work. I'm so happy you shared it here. Beyond exceptional and flawless work of art!

Lololol, I know when I enter a contest here that will be up for community voting I don't stand a chance in "hell" regardless of anything else. But I enter them regardless just to challenge myself mostly and again, what the hell maybe one day I might actually get lucky even though I figure I have a better chance of Tyrannosaurus Rex walking through my front yard. And yes, I will be loading my "losers" too. Granted I don't mind losing, there were many, many excellent images entered, but when I saw what took first place by community voting I almost choked. My first thought was I wonder how much that "cost" ya. The other funny thing is it seems whenever there are BIG prizes up Renderosity puts it up for community vote, now does that stink? Why don't they just sell them to the highest bidder? Anyway.....phenomenal image, you can tell you put your heart into this, and if nothing else it won't go un appreciated by your friends.... "Us" ~hugs~

As usual I am way down here at the bottom. Sorry. I know exactly how you feel about the contests. I have entered many and have gotten know where. Then again I don't rub elbows that because mine are sharp. lol! Well this image certianly well deserved to be noticed...Obviously it has. This is incredible looking. The six arms are amazing! If Audra had that many arms I would be in serious trouble...Well only if she had those swords and daggers in her hands. The rest of the time...Well I won't get into that. lol! Fantastic artwork!!!

Holycow!!!! A human Cuisinart! Talk about your multi-tasking! What a lot of work and detail went into this! I can't imagine attempting anything this difficult. The dedication and love you put into your artwork is staggering David. As far as the contests go here.. don't bother.. the winners are always the most networked folks and not always the best art or artists. It's the same in the real world with politicians.. It's a popularity contest and not the best results that win. A fatal flaw in any voting system. I prefer a panel of un-biased judges for contests. So I avoid the contests too (as if I could ever even place in one..hehehe) Anyway, off my soapbox and back to the gallery.. Chomping at the bit to see your other piece.. can't wait.. these are such a pleasure to view.. and real inspiration to try harder at making something that might pass for art someday. Big thumbs up David! Bravo and a vote from another Dave :^)

Awesome composition. Excellent lighting and atmosphere. Great POV. Beautiful character, pose and expression. I don't know how you put all those arms on her but I'm sure she's a hell of a masseuse! 8-) I'm sorry your image didn't win anything. However, I disagree with you. I started doing images in Poser by taking part on as much contests as I could. I think it's a good way to do a themed image on a limited time. I haven't won any first prize but I learnt a lot. I just don't do contests anymore because I don't have time. The fun is not on winning but on doing the image and taking part of it. Vote!

Ok, I'll take a handful of the No-Doze, coffee makes me pee too much! LOL! Well I gotta say, as is with all your work, that this is amazing! And even that is an understatement! The compostition is tremedous and as usual you've covered every minute detail perfectly! Along with that, you chosen a wonderful person to dedicate it to! Yep, outstanding all the way!! hugs

I cant belive this isnt ,didnt get through?Remember my IM on congrats on the winning entry I loved this so much!!!The system was a shambles and I did notice an image at mumber 1 with 52 votes(hmmmm)suddenly was down to around 10 on the recount thing.I think that a team of 5 mods (or artists from each gallery)should of selected their fav unsigned 10 each out of the masses and thats what they pick the winners from.Oh whatever lol!Heck I won a Tshirt 2 years ago for a third place lol!I love the look of this David, really do .Take it easy mate:-)Bye cal ps heres 37
