The young boy squeaked, drawing the covers up tighter himself now. "Yes, and they especially love little boys like you, who don't want to go to bed!" As she finished the sentence deft hands found his side through the covers, tickling him so that peals of laughter filled the small bedroom. " Now, get you to sleep." Leaning over, she brushed her lips to his forehead, then leaned over to low out the candle on the small bedside table. And in the brief flash of fluttering candlelight, neither saw the glitter of light off fangs outside the window, or the gleam of eyes for a second, filled with a silent sinister mirth...
