The name "dreadnaught" suggests a battleship of fiersome offensive capability. But I see nothing here suggesting weaponry. Unless those two things positioned like the Galactica's hangar bays are in fact two immense cannon (which would certainly surprise anyone trying to board this ship via the "hangar").
