Hi, I'm Dave :^)
I've learned that Art is 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration! I started CGA as a hobby early 2004. This site is huge, so if you have seen any of my material, then thank you for taking the time.
BIO:I'm a widowed Electronics and Software design Engineer living in Southern California, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
My late wife Robin.. passed in 2003 after 31 wonderfully married years, the last 7 of which Robin was in poor health. I miss my Babe so much...
I'm working with Poser5, Bryce5.5, Wings3D, PSP-10 and CorelPaint8.My mother (Elnor) is also on this site as Silkylady. If you get a chance, please drop by her gallery and see her work.
Finally, remember these words of wisdom:
1) Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff.2) If your only tool is a hammer then all your problems will look like nails.3) It's amazing what can be accomplished when one doesn't know what one can't do.4) Very few know how much one must know in order to know how little one really knows.5) Give a man fire and you heat him for awhile. Set a man on fire and he is heated for life.6) Complexity is a set of things that we figured how to do right, one built on top of the other, until failure is achieved.7) Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.8) Marriage is a place where you can be wrong in ways you never thought possible.9) If a man speaks his mind in a forest and no woman hears him.. is he still wrong?10) If at first you don't succeed, then cover up all previous attempts that failed.
Please enjoy your visit! Dave :^)(AKA: 'davidoblad','DLO')

HAHAHA! Yes, they gave their lives for generation X Hummer drivers, for people that live in major cities that just have to have that 4 x 4 status symbol and for every person that compensates for their fellings of inadaquacies (spelled wrong) by buying the biggest honkin' truck they can find. I just the people would learn how to drive them, and before anyone gets their knickers in a wad, I drove one with 18 wheels, and I could keep it between the lines! Sorry for the tirade Davester, I must have some issues buried pretty deep, huh?? Excellent image! The textures on the Dino's are wonderful, I like Georges' grass too! Happy Halloween to you and your Mom! Love you guys! :)))

Hey Dave talking about Grass I'm smoking as I type. I'll have to make this quick the cops just pulled up my drive way. Thought we were friends man now everybody will know I'm a pusher. Man Tammy is having a bender here give me a break girl I drive V8 350 HP no 4 banger's for me he-he-he-he! Where am I Jurasic Parc deja vue or something. I wish to thank those big guys for gas, 10W-40, injector cleaner, plastic, and all it's chemical derivatives, including food wrappers, garbage bags, sandwich wraps, coffee cups, plates, forks and knives, beer coolers etc., etc., etc., they have helped make my wonderful life easier. Now can you ask the T-Rex (the big one) if he can do something about the pricing situation he's really starting to piss me off. Super duper cool image ol Buddy........"V" George

you did everything in bryce, even the dinosaurs? which are great, especially like the green ones. The colors are beautiful in the sky and mountains. the trees looks so real, I really like how they fade out. lol

Back when windows 3.1 was state-o-art, I bought 3DFX and Visual-Reality.. two early rendering programs. VR was too buggy to use so gave up on it.. but it has a nice library of DXF models, including a dozen Dinos, of which I show 5 here. Imported into Bryce and textured. Dave :^)

Funny, cool dinos and a beautiful background!!!!
BigKenLee
Can't we all just get along? Won't be too much left over for the Pteradactal to eat because those two little dinos look real hungry. As far as oil goes, I rather drive my HUMMER then ride on the back of a hungry T-Rex and have to clean up after it with my freezer size baggy:-)) v
maggiemai
No wonder we are running out! I haven't seen a dinosaur in Years!! lol Seriously, I never realized they are the reason we have oil before. So very cool Bryce work... funny And educational! hehe I especially like your text where you say, "He said, before scampering into the short lived fray." ROFL!!!
