Description

It's about war really, or what some wars are fought over. (Please, I am not up for discussing religion or wars, just the image and I welcome anything constructive about that.) I have never done layers before; so I tried, but in the end I gave up. Instead I opened four images at once and cloned a part of each onto the one. I know I should read the manual, but as I told Andreas, 'I have a life to lead' LOL. The images (all mine) were of: An Abbey, Looking Skywards through Trees, A Re-enactment of a Battle and A Church Cross. I did the cloning in Paintshop Pro. Many thanks to those of you that gave such kind comments on my latest postings. Best wishes, Dave

Who reads the manual anyway?! I would rather experiment and try things out, only to make discoveries. So as to this magnificent photographic montage, as TEDZ would say 'Salute'. Yes, I salute you, you who have done very, very good.

I really love the work you've made for this incredible composition Dave ! And that's your first one with so many layers ???? I'm impressed ;o))))) The result is perfect, and not just only a beautiful image to see, but for the message behind and for the emotion you share with us. It's a superb composition ! V

Hi Dave! For not using layers, this looks really cool! I know what you mean about not having the time to learn the program inside out and getting frustrated at not being able to get it to do what you want. I often start things and then just leave them in a folder unfinished. LOL :P
