Description

I was so pleased with the comments I received for my last posting that I decided to merge another four images - one for each season, hence the title. I selected and opened 4 images and using the cloning method (A tip I posted on page 5 of my gallery) I pasted image 2 at 50% over 1, then image 3 at 25% over the combined 1&2. I darkened that and then pasted 4 at 25% over the combined 1,2&3. A little enhancing was done by bringing out selected parts of the various images, a little darkening again and then I copied the image, darkened the copy still further and pasted the darker sky onto the original. The original images (all mine) were 2560x1920 and shot with a Minolta Dimage, as were the images in my last posting. Time taken including looking for the images - 13 minutes. All done in Paintshop Pro 7

Like this - I think this one works even better than the last because the smaller parts are more easily distinguishable from the whole. Excellent image Dave look forward to seeing more :)

I think you did a totally fantastic job once again Dave. They all fit together so well it might just as well just be one shot. Only photo that looks a little off is the one with the sheep, that one looks "too green" against the snow. I wish i could hear Vivaldi too....but i mostly listen to Matchbox Twenty, Dido, James Blunt and peeps like that...sigh...i really am culturally challenged i guess. Have a dandy day!!! #:O)

You did very good Dave. Blending images together is not an easy thing. Not from the technical standpoint, but from the subject matter blending and harmonizing together nicely. Congradulations!
