Description

Where do I begin? In the morning? Hardly. If one could awake and look upon the day without having to choose a coat to match the weather or socks to match the other; life would then be an easy chore. Yet I; as usual, begin each day with a chemistry project. Creating a cup of coffee to me is a scientific endeavor. Stirring it over the sink, tasting and mixing it. Adding a bit more sugar and tasting again, then a bit more cream and tasting again just to get it acceptable. Once the taste matches my memory it is ready for consumption. Now the day is easy to conquer and when the thinking begins I head on my way. Out through the porthole of my home and into a world of the expected I take my journey. I tip my hat to passing cats along the walkway. I stop at corners looking up, using my hand as a visor searching the skies for what not to expect. I buy the morning paper; pull the want ads and comics out of it and toss the rest away. Looking at the angles of the shadows I find that the morning is nearly over making the morning paper now useless and I have not found Main Street yet. I then decide to wait patiently at a bus stop for the bus to arrive at 1:00. Across the street from where I stand is a small caf
