Description

This one I dedicate to the man who hiked on far higher altitudes than I ever did, Errol a.k.a. sharky_. Your fantastic hikes in the Hawaiian mountains showed so much beauty up there, but as far as I know you miss the glaciers. Well, here you have one! :) As I mentioned yesterday the place where the three glaciers come together is called Konkordiaplatz. You can see some boulders on the glacier the even with this telelens remain small. I am fascinated by the remarkable shapes of this glaciated landscape, so different from the world down in the valley! Sooo amazing! Wow...I've never seen a glacier up close like this before. It makes me wonder how thick is this moving ice wall? The texture is quite incredible to see Jan-Carel! Another wonderful dedi too! :-) VOTE
