Description

I created this while wondering why a saber shield had ever been created. It would be great for parrying and short strikes as well as fighting multiple opponenets. I created in it in Max 7. This is still in the works I think I will turn the light emiters in some more and add some armor on the shield's plate. It has eight different emiters with eight guards on each emiter.

In the original trilogy (which I count as separate to the final three) the concept implied was that a jedi was atuned to his weapon and through it evoked his relationship to the force. Therefore the idea of wielding more than one was considered only an accomplishment of a highly skilled jedi (thus Ben and Luke are seen fighting with two hands but Vader, being partially augmented with a machine could fight single handed). However, the mythology has been smudged in its clarity and so this shield idea might be plausible. You could pen the concept to Lucas who may realise he has missed a marketing opportunity and therefore build a whole new film around it.

I would like to see you use lens effects for the beams. The ones you have there are very plastic-looking, and removes from the overall effect. Other than that, very nice concept.
