Description
Created in Max textures made in PhotoShop I used the new digital camo patterns or (cadpat) the the military is starting to use. This is my newest and last combat robot for the fiction series I'm doing. They are all animatable and ready for production. It took three months to finally get them rigged. I cannot believe there are no robot rigging tuts. I will write one when I'm done with class. I am also still trying to get the novels I've done and with these creations picked up by a studio. I have all the modeling (over 50 combat robots and thirty other models for the storyline) done now I only need funding. I'm sure I will be able to do it. The technology will allow anyone to create a good scifi indy film.

indeed, i hope the funding works... all i can spare is a comment... it's also a kind of funding, maybe. I think the bot is a little dull in color... maybe the cadpat pattern could be more visible.. or the scenery where the anims going to take place has to liven it up.. but good job man, cool bot.

Very nice job. It looks like something from battletech.

AWESOME!! Only Mech Tuits I know of is for Lightwave 7. One fella went so far as to buy the model of the Matrix Mech and recreated it in LW. Magnificent - but they dont share & I cant afford to upgrade to version 7 anyhow. LOL. I seriously hope you will create modes - maybe to sell (like Django and Moe87) to at least partially fund your project. Or wait for me to win the lottery. hee hee. I suspect you know that studios are begging for LW experts. Best of luck and good fortune Dwayne. USAF Retired
