Description

one of my first missions into the night...been going through some old shots and came across this one. i posted a similar version in the old gallery but not this one. it's a duo-tone, i was trying to get a silver tint to it and this is as close as i came, not at all what i wanted but i still like how it turned out. i believe someone mentioned light trails in a comment on the last post...is this enough?:)...trust me, i've got plenty more!!! yes CD, the channel mixer settings i use to convert to b/w are completely different for my night shots. i have two different starting points, one for day and one for night. other then that, it's business as usual. sorry, i have no idea what channel mixer settings i use...i just go till i like what i see. thank you all for looking and your kind words on my previous posts!!! i hope you enjoyed!!! LOL! Awesome light trails pal. And it does have somewhat of a silverish look. Another gem in your already impressive gallery. Have a great day Eric. #:O)

Oh, i think the silver impression works very well here. An excellent range of gray levels you composed here, just perfect. Next challenge is to make gold out of the darkness, as the old alchimists tried to do - or did!

Eric, it is important to save your ChMxr settings, this way an image can always be reworked when one needs to. It is also important to also save levels, curves and Hue/Sat settings, again this way one can retrace ones steps.

Jeez Eric, now you're climbing trees to get your shote? You're going to break your neck one of these days! Love the play of light here, the way it follows the curve in the road. T'is very cool.

I also keep on meaning to keep a record of what settings I use when doping bw conversions - but I always forget - I like this one :-))
