Description

I was looking at my photos of the trip out west i did with my son. He wish to go out west on Bus but I say no I going with him. We was not getting along at that time for he was a teenager at that time. We did not talk much for the first day or two but then we started talking and by the time we got back we was bonded as father and son. And still are. Not the photos I took was on roll film and I have to scam them in. this I did and the photos looked bad I did not know why intill this morrow I saw I can set the deflaste whis is 150 to 1200 if I wish so I did and set it to 1200 but my computor couldnot handly this so I set it to 500 and it worked I did also do one at 150 too just to see what what. I do one at 900 too to see and my coumptor did it but almost do not too. so my max is 900 and it took 5 mintunes to do it and a long time to save it as a jpeg.[I did save it in photoshop and a tiff to but the tiff fill is 98.2mb and the jpeg is about 15mb this is at the 900 setting I need to learn how to cut off the white around the image in photoshop or just make it to be the size of the image. That why when I posted Red Mountain photos it looked bad and the pixs was bad in them I did not know how to use my scanner lol. wonder if I can just scan my photo and not the whole bed???? Here my son is going down into the canyon . He spent the night and did not want me to go with him. I spent the night in a parking lot in the car to save money. It was cold too as it was in Nov. on the south side of the Grand Canyon.

He's a lot braver than I am, I'd be sleeping in the parking lot as well! Great shot and a great experience. My teenage daughter, who just got her lip pierced, thinks I'm a complete idiot. Maybe she's right but I don't care. I am really happy to hear how well you guys get along now.

The path down the canyon looks fairly easy, but it is very hard comming back up! I almost didn't make it and I was in my 30's then, lol! You did well to stay in the parking lot! There is no place like the Grand Canyon and this is a wonderful capture of it and your Son! :)

He he, 1200 dpi is a bit overdone, I'm afraid but eventually you succeeded! Temperatures will drop here at night, the altitude causes radiation of heat into space. Splendid capture!
