Description

Here is the picture I took of the Blue Heron taking off and in flight. I am not too happy because it is so dark. I added frame and border and all postwork done in PSP 9. All comments and views are appreciated. Love n Hugs Susan~

It's unfortunate about the light Susan, but still a fine shot in any case. Well captured my friend. Keep up the good work. Steve :o)

A pleasant silhouette none the less, sometimes we have to just get lucky enough to catch them in the light. You have done well here to catch it in flight...Well done! Aloha!

The silhouette effect does do it well, and in this way it is still a wonderful capture of this heron taking off! Terrific work, Susan! :)

By Blue Heron, do you mean it's blue colored? Or is it depressed? What? Anyway, neat bird! How far to travel to see these? All I see are sparrows and a few ducks when near water. I'm sure hoping all's going well in your health dept. Let us know? Hugs.. Dave :^)

Maybe the next shot of the blue heron will have better lighting, but there is something to be said for a silhouette. I think it's an excellent capture! VOTE (((((((Hugs to you too!))))))

I like the silhouette effect ;-) I love herons they are a continuity thing for me. I have lived in all sorts of places both Northern & Southern hemisphere...but I have never lived anywhere you don't get herons. I saw two flying together the other day!. (they are usually such solitary birds)

I think you made the best out of it.. You didn't try to make the heron picture look more beautiful than it was, but you used the picture for another creation. Well done.
