Description

Ganz was starting to pull the trigger when Jav pulled himself up onto the purifer housing on top of the sky-scraper. "GANZ! DON"T SHOOT!" Ganz bit off, "Those robo-biznatches are electrocuting that woman down there! We HAVE to do something!" Jav took up a sniping position to Ganz's right and took a gander through the holo-sight of his 20mm HYVAP rifle. After a moment he said through clenched teeth, "Damn. She's tough!" Ganz watched as the discard girl got blasted by the Collector robot again. She fell and bounced back up immediately. She shook her head and motioned her not going along with the robot. It jacked up it's attack again and lightning flared from it's hand and felled her again. Ganz choked out, "Aw, GOD! Just stay down, girl! What is so important? Why do you resist? Is it family?" Ganz imagined his daughter, Alza, taking that kind of horrific abuse. She would fight like this for her family. "You bastards. You fucking bastards!" Jav said with a grimace, "My Hyper Velocity rifle could chew them up, but your pulse laser is useless against thier refractive armorplate." The watched the girl get up again. Ganz bit out, "Somethings are worth fighting for. Family. Love. She's not fighting them. She's resisting them. Remember Adamesh? Evil triumphs, when the good do nothing." "Ganz! If you shoot that thing, you might get us into a shooting war with Flying City 64!" Jav was fighting his own war to not shoot the damned machine. Ganz could feel his anger building up. He knew what he would do. The Girl fell again and was slower getting back up. Steam rose from her seared skin. He balanced his hate for the Lords of Air and thier machines and the compassion for the girl. He made his choice. Media is Poser 6 and Vue 5 Easel
