Description

Hello all ..., over the last few days ,as I have put up Abe and Grant - I have have several requests for the blue and Grey. SO I was going thru my pictures and remebered this young man around my daughters age 14. He was away from the battel and a bit upset and stewing . I think he had done something not fitting and they kicked him off the reenactment battle field. . So here he has just taken a swig of water and freom his perifial vision sees me -is trying not to show it - or the emotion of being angry. I like it cause it had mood and feeling in it just like a young boy would have in the 1860s during the cilvil war. Real emotion cannot be acted out in this way unless you are a professional actor. or really good. SO I am ignorant about the battle colors which side was he on you tell me. I love history but not paticularly war. This one is for you Kenmo cause you asked! I am sick with fever today my girls all have it. this has been a bad year for the flu.. I am considering a flu shot this year but afraid of the infected needle storys you hear about so havnt gone in to do it. love ya all - big hugs(lol cyber hugs cause i am ill )! ♥ ~Kimmers!

Fantastic emotion in this excellent shot. Don't know if he's blue or grey but he sure looks like a soldier. This series has been so exceptional. Take care of your sweet self. :o) CC

Fantastic! Wonderful clarity, tones, and detail. He's probably not much younger than many who fought in this war, touring the battlegrounds around Richmond and Gettysburg is always an emotional experience.

He seems very pensive. Excellent profile. I guess many boys fought and perished, hence they have a lot to be pensive about. Well done.

Very nice photo taken of a perfect moment. It's hard to imagine but true that kids were also involved in actual battle. This becomes quite powerful.

He looks like a southerner grey to me....the brown trousers and grey coat are a dead give away... This looks so genuine, I imagine there were many boys fighting in a mans war... Awesome Kimmie, just awesome.... A big *VOTE and a bigger hug...

LOve this and its so clear: flu shot?? got mine there's more danger of dying from the flu than infected needles,as when giving flu shots for years they are never reused cannot be its a safety thing now other shots I cannot say much about but no no worry get the flu shot but only when your better not now: hugs ))
