Description

About the title: 'De Kempen' is the region in which I live. It's located in the south of The Netherlands, more or less near the city of Eindhoven. About the picture: it shows part of the landscape which is called 'De Malpie'. Every now and then I like to go there to take some pictures. During the weekends it can be pretty crowded here, so I always try to be very early in the morning, or during the 'working-week'. There are several small lakes (which we call 'vennen', but I do not know if there is an English translation for that...), which are surrounded by forest. Hope you like the pic. Thanks for all your nice comments on my last upload, "Dead Or Not ??" !!

Fens and bogs, it's just a fantastic landscape that looks mysteriously when in the mists (not crowded then :)! Hmmm, would Lamp's Hole be the appropriate Carnival's name of your city!? ;) Excellent work, Paul, the landscapes served pretty well for some nice painters in historic times!
