dom zu limburg - detail II sometimes the details are important... ...and light's important anyway... a picture taken last sunday at a wonderful day in limburg with my wonderful lady... :)) shown is a details of the cathedral of limburg - a wonderful cathedral - quite unusual - a completely Romanesque cathedral - simple and beautiful... a very light cathedral... location: limburg, germany framing: what do you think...? --- next posting: silence previous posting: dom zu limburg - detail I oh - well... ranking is open - but: i'd like to get honest ones... so a honest "NICE" with a useful comment is more worth than an excellent what is not meant this way... ;)
thanks for stopping by and watching :) and of course - critics, thoughts, whatever are welcome - the more useful the better... ;) so don't hesitate to point out things which could be done better... thank you! -christian picture taken with canon 300D postwork/framing in Xara X1/PSP9/PSE3

This is awesome, darling. And much better than my tries to catch the light on this arches... ;-) Love the quiet but very impressive composition and that you didnt centered the rays. Very good work!! Even the colours do come out very good, although there were quite bad lightsettings... Just love it!! uda fiue fmad dzk dvtmjsuads ;-) :-))) unvm Excellent work on this, and the puristic frame just underlines it perfectly... ;-) :-))

Dramatic, impressive photography. The lighting, the POV which clealy allows one to enjoy the detail of the artistic architectural detail of the windows and columns, which is always an incredible experience to see. It amazes me how often the detail leads one's thoughts to higher things, in the case of a cathedral, thoughts of God. This is elegant & excellent Christian.

great impact, superb light and colors. I know it's incredibly tough to get a shot like that perfect, simply because you can't elevate yourself to a height you want most of the time in such buildings. I keep thinking if it wouldn't look better if cropped to square format? Great stuff anyway!
