Description

The first week of my vacation I've been on my own in the chalet, but the second week my friend Wim a.k.a. meissner would join me. I dedicate this shot of a new series to you, Wim, because this was the start of my voyage to get your from the airport in Geneva. I decided to make a nice outing of this 180 km (112 miles) voyage taking the whole day to reach Geneva. Avoiding the freeway I left the highways here and there to visit some nice places, like here, east of Chamoson surrounded by vineyards. Looking eastward we can see here Sion with mountain and castle and on the background you can see the same Bietschhorn (3934 m, 12907 ft) as yesterday, but now from a large distance. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 100 mm and polarisation filter) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Oh WOW!!!!! I wonder what it must be like to live in such a beautiful place! Is this Switzerland? I visited Lake Lucerne and somewhere in the Alps in 1985 (I was 10 forgive me for forgetting the specifics) but it was in March and snowy...still a beautiful part of the world and a real change for a Florida girl!!! :-) Good memories. :-) :-)

So much adventure and amazeing vistas since I took my break - You consistantly have some of the most spectacular suject matter I have seen - keep that shutter well oiled ~ LOL :) - Exciting imagry ! - can't comment on all but this one caught my eye - take care
