(continued from yesterday) You awake to find yourself on a vast icy plain. Your last memory is that of falling into the inky blackness of the Leviathan's maw. Around you, the prismatic ground and sky are muted by the blowing snow. The temperature is cold, though not as chilly as one might expect. Ahead, through the buffeting winds, you can make out an edifice in the landscape that resembles the profile of a head, mouth agape. From the mouth, a beckoning glow emanates. Wearily, you trudge forward towards the light... The "snow" was postworked in, but little else was done to the original photo. It is an irony, that Prometheus, who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to the mortals, should suffer in snow and chilliness! Zeus would have liked that instead of Prometheus' heart being eaten away everyday by his eagle!! Excellent imagery! It impossible to tell where photography ends and surrealism begins!
