A lightwave version of my "witness to armageddon" made in bryce. I'm submitting this pic for a chance at winning a scholarship. Wish me luck!!!

Best of luck with your scholarship! There's a couple of things I'd like to point out though... If the sun was so close to the Earth, there wouldn't be any water or vegetation on it... and the heat wouldn't be stronger at the poles, but at the equator... Again, best of luck!

Draculaz doesn't understand the effect you are trying to show. It's beautiful. Mo' detail would be nice in the craft but it's nice. GOod luck. It's more of a nuclear cosmic wind effect or something.

in respons to Drac's comment, I considered doing these things, but if you'll notice the color scheme, if the blue water was gone, the earth wouldn't grab your attention as it does, and it would just blend into the background...same with the green vegetation.
