Description

Zooming in you can see the water of Lake Geneva (Lac Vevey sounds pretty well too). I could correct the bluishness a bit better as you can see on this picture compared with yesterday's posting. The mountain with the tower is Mont Pèlerin (1080 m, 3543 ft, high above the lake that lies on an altitude of 372 m, 1220 ft), and this antenna is considered to be highly rated on the list of infamous antenna's of the world. At last analysis, I think I was wrong yesterday when I said you run on top of those mountains, I have the impression that you jump from a top to another... eh, sorry to ask but, do you have wings!!? Excellent serie JC! I wish you a nice day, G.

Another interesting image. The small light bar on the right side indicates you're pushing the sun angle. Does the Mt Pelerin antenna cover much of eastern France? -- Dick

Another great one.. Love the sight at the mountains and the use of heavy tele. You are closing in to Geneva, that's very clear to me.

Excellent photography. Many times when I have taken pictures like this I have always felt that I was not able to convey the full beauty because of the limited span of the camera. Considering all that, this is an exceptional picture. Bravo!

Taking in the rocks. A geologists hammer might get some of the blue out. Each vein maps out a flow. The layers hide and reveal what was once rivers of precious metals. The old folks laugh at a young man's pride in his eye. This is all picked over hundreds of times yet to the beginner there is adventure in the core of the earth. Exploitation? maybe... or just a thrust of youth.

C'est superbe : dails et panavision!! On se sent les poumons plein de bon air !! Quels sont les trac qui descendent des collines en face ? J'espe que je ne pose pas une question -quizz ... :-O !! .. ;) It is superb: details and panavision!! One feels the lungs full with good air!! Which are the trails which go down from the hills opposite? I hope that I don't put a question - quizz... :-O !! .. ;)

I agree with this statement.... The Nyon's Lake would be quite much more beautiful without it...
