Description

This black eyed Susan had a friendly visitor...grin. Taken outside last week while our weather was still warm. We were under tornado warnings until midnight last night our small town siren went off but we didn't get hit..a town close by us was almost destroyed though. Added border and frame. Postwork done in PSP 9 I am feeling somewhat better and go for a check up next Tuesday. Any views and comments are most appreciated. Hugs Susan ~

You know, the first thing I noticed was the little baby grasshopper! And then I realized that yeah he's on one of those flower-sorts of things. I think I commented before on your vivid and lively sense of color. I really like the way you always make it work. Everything seems so crisp and sharp, like I'm seeing it from right there. I really like the way the flower itself is mostly in profile and not face-on as is traditional for a flower shot and I think the little grasshopper adds just the perfect accent to this image. It's a fantastic insect portrait.
