Description

The Chapter Room welcomed the monks on a daily basis. Under the supervision of the abbot, a chapter of the rule was read and the monks would confess their faults. They would also discuss the problems of the day. During the Middle Ages, the Abbot of Villers was elected here. Only the monks had access to daily chapters.

Ooooh...the colors and textures here are so beautiful!! I love your POV looking through the archway onto that brilliant green grass. The contrast of the grass and the white stone is excellent! Oh and that little "blue" door! It makes me wonder what is behind it and I just love that little touch of blue. :-) Excellent! ++++

Light, shadow, composition and your point of view all come together nicely for this photograph. Seeing a lawn grow inside the structure of this ruin is very interesting. I like this one a lot. Have a great week.

Superbe ! V
