Description

Hi, a "rural" view rendered with vue5 with GI and some other lights (with "big" softness and dark color)... rendered in 2400x1800, some blur in photonpaint and resampled in 800x600. (you can see also a snapshot to evaluate the light setup...) all modeled by me, plants from x-frog C&C are welcome

Thats a very peaceful image, rodluc. Excellent modeling, especially on the clay tiles on the roof of that well-thing. Maybe the image is a little bit too blurred - if the walls were a little sharper or grainier they would have a more definitive look. Excellent work overall. -Zak

My gosh, what an incredible image. You certainly know how to model and render. The lighting is so critical in nearly all images and you have definately nailed this one perfectly. Excellent work.

I am so happy to see this excellent use of GI. You've done a terrific job here Luca. I disagree with Elminster, over-bumped surfaces are a common mistake. Real-world textures don't look so bumpy unless seen from very close. On the contrast, the floor flatness gives way to the fact that it's just a bitmap. Have you tried using a very flat starndard terrain with the floor image as a function? Could do for a poor-man's displacement :) Anyway, really excellent work and my vote :)

Very very good picture... Exceptional work with the lighting and the render ... the composition is excellent too... and the textures are very nice ... agree with erka about bump... it's ok for me... my vote too... Bravo
