Asking myself to post this one or not I actually did as you see. I should have shot this vista twice, one overexposed to fill in the dark parts of the trees, and this one. Adjusting levels in this one just shows noise. Well, now it is a dark frame.

I scanned your gallery and all of your scenic shots are soooooo pretty!!!!!!!!! Love the valleys and huge mountains; Geneva ... I was in Geneva CA, and it was beautiful there, too.

This is wonderful Jan. Wish I could get more time to cruise the galleries, to see and comment on my favorite artists, but my extra duties here at Renderosity pretty much keep me tied down for time. I find your image very good, but somewhat lacking of your other works. I can't quite put my finger on what makes me feel this way, it may be the speckles in the blue sky. This could be a natural phenomena, but it certainly distracts from "Quality" we are so used to seeing. I promise myself I will find the time to look through your gallery and view the works I've missed these many weeks. -Joe

The "dark frame" works well on this shot! It does look a bit washed-out in the background, but there are many shades of blue in this sky :)
