Wow, that IS a weird plant! Makes me think of Verbascum-species, perhaps this is some far relative of it! :) Great find, love the contrast with the greyish background!

of course we have never seen such a plant, we that are not from the Islands that is...don't grow that kind around here, gotta check out your gallery to see this kind of strange yet beautiful creations!
