Woah, Guido, great pic. It has Star Wars Episod I style. YOu really have a talent for cityscapes. This is a big improvement and that radiosity effect does some good work with the lighting. Good job buddy.

That looks really cool. What was your lighting setup for the radiosity? How many lights? Did you use any luminous objects (like a sky-dome)? Only thing you could improve is the textures of the building, its too uniform/constant. Could use some variation and/or dirt etc. Great work.

sdaniels, I used the standard sun for the light and a sphere with a colorprocess from orange to darkblue in the luminescence channel. All lights ya see in the buildings are faces with a full white in the luminescence channel. Ahh thanX for your comment! ~{o;)

That is absolutely spectacular. I won't even ask about the file size:) And I'll put my vote in with Eugenius that this is begging for an animation. Let's see that race!!!

Excellent work. But I think you should add different textures for the several buildings. If I could rate this picture I would give it a 10!! I guess this truly is the new number 1 in the Top20!

Very nice work FAKE, I like how you managed a sense of lightness and integrity in the architecture while just using collections of geometric shapes. Does not look like classic "Shoe Box City"! So how long to model all of this? ;)

Hi Yvan, thanX for the comment!!! O.K. now to your question... I think it takes one or two hours to create all the buildings, I cant tell ya exactly cause Ive done the scene not on one day. ~{o;)

Ohhh, the architecture of the city is great (I love such a mixture of the antiquity and SF). Finally it's a very moody pic. Keep it up. Lets see more...

Fake my friend, this image takes my breath away. It is such a wonderful breath of fresh air over being subjected and subjugated by the repititious postings of others who seem to know nothing else but how to do naked, female Poser figures leering away, and/or handling themselves suggestively. To finally see some REAL 3D art through this magnificent render is testimony to both your mastery of 3D and your exception skills. I love the inclusion of the several space-cars, 2 in flight and 3 atop the roofs. I wouldn't worry about the uniformity in structure textures either, as every suburb, and many cities I've seen all have a look of being cloned one from the other. I cannot begin to offer you sufficient praise for a truly great viewing experience - thank-you Fake, and IM me - please! - if you post anymore of these 3D masterpieces.

Hi mate this has got to be the best image you have produced so far. I luv the little people. I certainly don't think it's too uniform. The detail is superb. It's nice to see your ships from previous images in the scene. FANTASTIC :-) thanks
