Hi all and welcome to my little spot in South Africa. A bit about me - I'm a single mom of two naughty but gorgeous teenage children who keep me active well after dark (trying to avoid the obstacles they leave on the floor all over the house :o) Life has thrown me a few interesting curves and angles and I'm still trying to make head or tale (yes, tale!) of which direction I'm meant to be going in. I am a poet and writer by nature and I dabble in a bit of photography on the side. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my home at Renderosity. Hugs all!
BIO
I am a South African single mom of two mischievous children who loves life and thinks that having a positive attitude and love are the best gifts you can give the universe. If there is a challenge, bring it on. If you have a problem to solve, I am here. If you need a shoulder to soak, I wear soft padded jackets. lol I am a full time employee who dabbles a bit in poetry, writing short stories and loves to mess around with Terragen and my camera. To all who dropped in to see who I am - welcome and thanks for stopping by.. Hugs to you all.
UPDATE:
Teens NO MORE!!! Now a naughty grandmother who leads her grandson astray on a regular basis :D

LOL! Been there but not with files and folders. Different line of work but always piling high. Great poetry to express it.

Wonderful written work! Most everyone can relate, I'm sure. Methinks you would be the type of employee a boss would never have to worry about.(runs to music cd room -- "Take this job and shove it" - R.I.P. Johnny Paycheck).

You did a great job with this, getting into the mind of someone loathing their job, and yes I agree to some degree with Tall pockets most everyone I would think could at one point or another associate with this feeling. Although I must confess that I too can sympathize with bosses also, for I have been on both sides of that track in my life time, and thus I have found that bosses are often stressed beyond what the employee will ever face. Thanks for sharing.

been there, done that (what am I saying I'm doing that right now) Excellent mix of emotion in your writing, but I certainly do hope it is in the heart of experimenting and you do not live like that.

Experimental has it right. And so does Robbin. In my experience when bosses act as you describe, they're scared and/or uncertain. On the work itself, there are a few places I would drop a word to help the meter. A friend of mine used to march around her small house working out her wording and cadence. Strange, but after all these years I can still see her small, birdlike figure stomping through the rooms while posessed with creation's fury. -- Dick

I had a 'job' like that quite a few years ago and, because I was the only one who got the work done right, they kept piling more onto my plate. But the boss was nothing like I've described here. I believe that if you give good attitude you normally receive it back in return. Thanks for all the comments, they are really appreciated.
