Description

THis time I'm working on some "particule" FX, but don't take me wrong, I'm not talking about the little rocks, I'm talking about the dust cloud. Absolutly no post work on this image, it's 100% pure bryce, no imported objects either. juste a few terrains, a ufo.. and a big sphere with a volumetric texture. Hope you like it. Cheers!

Awesome image! If there's anything I've learned from Bryce, its to stay away from volumetrics, but what you've done here completely blows me away!

Sometime you have to do something stupid, since it's the best way to get an effect. Volumetrics are a pain in the neck, but sometimes the results are worth it. As in this case. Very dramatic. No imports either. Even the saucer is made from primitives? Even nice work in that case.
