Jocko500: True, but cats and dogs don't know any better. Dogs eat feces and roll in rotting muck. Should we do the same? Do we not want to be better than them? Do we sink to the lowest of the beasts, or do we take charge of ourselves and strive to be the moral creatures we pride ourselves to be? I have but one question to all those who support the use of torture by the USA: If Clinton was in the Whitehouse (Bill or Hillary, take your pick), would you still support the use of torture?

Ahhh but we are not moral creatures, we routinely kill each other for various reasons. Humans abandon their young like animals, and we even abort the growing young before they can be born. Were is this elevated sense of morailty in the face of all this? We have already sunk to the level of the common beast because we mimic them in their worst and then ignore the stigma by hiding behind memes of "Pro Choice" and "Political Correctness". The question is not if your particular favorite president supports it will you? The question is if you could potentially stop many lives...maybe even thousands of lives from being lost by torturing a terrorist prisoner with holding the keys to life and death would you? No, well what if it was a loved one of yours about to be killed if the info is not tortured out of him?

Torture is mainly producing false confessions. And if the secret services would do their job, youd get the information you want. And btw: Terrorism is political violence, mostly in response to other political violence.
