Description
I'm sure some would react this way, even though they should expect this from a different species from Outer Space. Some people really need to heed the Serenity Prayer: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE." To this I would add the wisdom to know the different between what needs to be changed and what doesn't need to be changed.

Very good point, and thoughtful addendum to Serenity prayer. If ONLY certain religious fanatics would take it to heart.

I should probably mention that it is just a few people who struck me as really needing to dwell on the last part of the Serenity prayer. I am thinking of a couple I knew who among other things criticized me for: not planning to have kids (and I'm someone who never intends to have sex), not laughing when I'm "supposed to," choosing grilled chicken instead of grilled steak, being a minimalist (not having as many material possessions), saying jog instead of run, and not "following what they say I should do" such as not volunteering for the big brother program.
