Description

I've been in a dump with lack of creativity and inspiration, so in order to get me "going again" I made this, a somewhat "standard" piece - inspired by a landscape in a movie (believe it or not, "Lord of The Rings" #1). An "island of trees" with dense grass as a contrast to the more barren and fieldlike surroundings. Vue5I, Onyxtree (foreground trees) and Bantam3D "Grass 7", minor corrections with Photoshop. Rendered in "Broadcast" with Global Illumination - approx. 5 hrs render. 3 bio. polys, 3 ecosystems. Hope you like this, any comments etc. are very much appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Excellent job for "not inspired". Especially the grass looks super, something that still is not so easy to achieve. Klasse.

Love the grass and the hill especially! And you did a great job with the LotR inspiration, because my first thought was that it looks like the Shire. ;-)
