Description


This is a watercolor gouache painting of the Joker I just did. I feel this is a real turning point for me and my art. I think it's my best comic book painting by far to date. I really referenced the image (check out the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game ad in a magazine, that's the pic I used). I saw the ad and this idea jumped in my head. It turned out the way I wanted it to: realistic but not too realistic. I think he looks creepy too. The copy turned out well too (that's what this is scanned off of, the original is 11x17). I think you did a good job. I think the hair looks a little pale, i'd increase the green to be a little more harsher. Other than that, excellent job!
