Another look at Red rock canyon . you will think i saturated this ... only a tad (plus 2 ) nope this is the real color of the rocks they are red ..
I was going to put up this bird today (lol) but Egmont asked to see this closer and so here is the red rocks up closer as requested. I have many pictures of this place but I don't want to bore you with rocks and rocks ...but if you ask I might comply!!...
For this shot I had to do a bit of serious hiking up some rocks - again here I lost my family ( they went down I went up here for this view )for a while but met this very nice all firey redheaded family who looked very nice with the rocks..LOL!! hehe!!..(I took some fun pics of that redheaded family too ,that I will send them but out of respect for thier wishes will not put here them online.)
Thank you for all your wonderful comments and time. I had tried hard to comment today and did a bit but but my explorer and foxfire kept shutting down some kind of virus that has to do with a sly brown fox ..( if any has heard of or know of how to remedy this nasty fox virus - please let me know).. hoping I can post this image here tonight!!

The hike was well worth it. If I ever had to imagine what America was like when the first explorers roamed the area, then it would be just like this photograph. No McDonalds or other fast food place, or shopping malls, not even a WalMart, this is what America once was. Glad to see there are still pockets left in this country. Beautifully done my dear and I thank you for sharing another view. Most spectacular. '~))

Excellent image. You will never bore me with red rocks. If you live in the southwest you learn to love rocks above all else. They are simply fantastic and amazing to see. Excellent work friend !!! Makes me want to get out my camera and go shoot red rocks. BTW, my husband and I go rock hunting. lol. We go out to remote areas of NM and pick up BIG ones to bring back to put in our yard. LOL. We rockscape. It is really fun and you get to see some gorgeous places. LOVE IT....hugsssss

Fantastic clarity and composition! I never tire of red rocks living in southern utah. You should come a little further east and check out Zion, Bryce, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
