Description
Photography made by Giancarlo in autumn 1981 in Emilia - Italy
with his manual camera Canon F1
(the original shot was a slide)
No post work, only framed with Photoshop 7
Now you know how Giancarlo love the trees and the woods....
Even if winter is already here... I choose a photography of autumn, with tender colors, and a wonderful copple of trees in Emilia.

Trees help you see slices of sky between branches,
point to things you could never reach.
Trees help you watch the growing happen,
watch blossoms burst then dry,
see shade twist to the pace of a sun,
birds tear at unwilling seeds.
Trees take the eye to where it is,
where it was,
then over to distant hills,
faraway to other places and times,
long ago.
A tree is a lens,
a viewfinder, a window.
I wait below
for a message
of what is yet to come.

Looks like an Italian Poppel tree. One of my avorite trees as i like the way the leaves turn to a warm gold in Autumn, especially when the sun hits them and if thee is a breeze, they look like thousands of golden coins. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful image indeed. Lights shadows and frame are excellent!

C'est le genre de sujet et de composition que j'aime bien Je suis en train de regarder sur mon ordinateur portable, et le fait de changer l'inclinaison de l'ran donne un jour nouveau la photo, c'est tr sympa!

And ... trees are hopeful, reaching up their arms to the place of their creators! Fabulous work, trees are verrry special and like the dog of Obelix I hate to see trees chopped down, especially when it serves no purpose but economical (unless it's replaced by a few new trees, of course)!
