Description
This is another image inspired by depression. Specifically, loneliness. I was feeling fairly isolated that day.
And yes, I say "that day" because it was around a week ago.
Why so long? That background was done in Vue 5, on max settings. Even with the 5 fastest computers I could borrow CPU cycles from, it took 6 days (!) to render.
The full background image is 4096x3072 pixels... I feel like I should do something with it, but while it seems too much time to give it away, I know nobody would pay for 1 background either. Maybe I'll hold onto it and release it when I get enough to be worthwhile bundled together. Or maybe I'll give it away, but only to people who ask nicely. You can always try. ;)

Well, let's see... the figure is Victoria 3, hair is Bliss Vision (always my favourite), background is my own, the wall was from some graveyard pack, and clothes I don't remember.

That's a lot of time for a background ... why not use a photo, since that's what most people will assume it was?

Well, in retrospect, yeah a photo probably would have been faster... if I could get one just like what I wanted, a large body of perfectly still water like that isn't too common. However, in retrospect, turning the settings on Vue to maximums (even higher than "ultra") was probably not the best time-saving measure either... hehe... certainly not something I plan to do again.

Simply gorgeous background you must be so proud. I am always looking for great backgrounds and I do for them from time to time. I would do some more if you have enough patience for it and sell a package very good idea.....(just think you use your art as a advertisement tool)...hey Im thinking I should be your manager (LOL)......shanpoo ;}
