Description

Hello all. This was taken on one of my walks down the street not too far from where I live in Placerita Canyon nature center. There is a beautiful flowing little river that comes every spring thru summer and in the fall and winter it is a dried up rock bed. I looked at the trees bending over like they were looking , longing ,and waiting patiently . For me this represents a stage in my life with my oldest teenage daughter. waiting for a return to waters flow. we all have times when we have to patiently wait for things and so this is a represntation of that. The sun was pretty blinding that day so I tried to capture this big tree leaning over curiously as best I could it seemed like it was bending down saying to the rocky river bed when are you going to come back and bring your refreshment to my roots?... I have other shots that I like more but this is the most meaningful to me personally!!. Thanks for all your time and comments.. luv you all !!! big giant hugs!! ♥ Kimarie

I'm sure this will have different meanings and significance for most who view the beautiful shot. I look and realize how much we associate with the creeks, rivers, streams. When I see the dry bed, after reading your words, I'm reminded of Is. 35, and also of the Living Water that is the Source we can go to to be refreshed. There is renewal even when no water flows over the rock bed. This is very meaningful to me too. Thank you kimmers.
