Description

Hello all. This was taken on one of my walks down the street not too far from where I live in Placerita Canyon nature center. There is a beautiful flowing little river that comes every spring thru summer and in the fall and winter it is a dried up rock bed. I looked at the trees bending over like they were looking , longing ,and waiting patiently . For me this represents a stage in my life with my oldest teenage daughter. waiting for a return to waters flow. we all have times when we have to patiently wait for things and so this is a represntation of that. The sun was pretty blinding that day so I tried to capture this big tree leaning over curiously as best I could it seemed like it was bending down saying to the rocky river bed when are you going to come back and bring your refreshment to my roots?... I have other shots that I like more but this is the most meaningful to me personally!!. Thanks for all your time and comments.. luv you all !!! big giant hugs!! ♥ Kimarie

Really beautiful picture. Love the composition and the control of light. It is so very difficult to combine bright and dark lighting in one picture. Yes, we do have to wait patiently. Only certain things can be hastened.

This is so beautiful! It reminds me of a park in New York state, just over the Connecituct border that my husband and I visit from time to time.

Gorgeous Photo and such a sweet and wonderful sentiment. The light is fantastic and gives this image a very magical feel to it. Here in Santa Fe we have trees that do the same thing in the dry months. I just love the title and story. So sweet and so heartfelt.

a magical place; sometimes I think that you dream more than your little girls and that's definetely wonderful at your age - you're so young at heart and that's the perfect way to have a wonderful life. may all your dreams come true, including the coming of your river. be happy always!
