Description

Today is a special day, because our moderator lady has her birthday today! Without any fitting shots of poppies, stained glass or other appropriate objects I thought it best to dedicate you this glacier since you told it was still unseasonable warm and this glacier has enough ice for you to slice parts of it and make some nice stained ice of it (store cool LOL!).

After the relatively easy slope the last end close to the glacier becomes more steep. A little valley to the left (north) contains an other glacier, the Jegigletscher. One of the Breithorns (3785 m, 12418 ft) is the highest point you can see, left from the main part of the glacier. the majestic mountain top comes closer! watching the hikers with cool eyes and I am glad the birthday girl isn't that cold like the glacier! Happy Birthday Cyn! ;o)

absolutely gorgeous, Jan-Carel!!! this glacier has faces already carved it in though!!! Oh no...Cindy's gonna slice them up!!!! so many faces i can't even begin to tell you where they all are! and there's even a lion there! i'm surprised Errol didn't see them! Well, a glacier is certainly the perfect gift to cool things down a bit!!!! :) i love the clouds rising up the on the top...like smoke! :)
