Description

The depth of loneliness ------------------------ That ache that pulls your insides out When you see other loving couples about That incomplete feeling of your best half gone When point five is definitely not a whole one. When you toss and turn in bed at night, And emptiness holds you oh so tight. When all you needed was a hug But found someone else had pulled the plug. You turn to someone that you call friend and find that unlimited has an end You go to visit someone at home But find no one there leaves you all alone. At the movies the chair that is right by your side Is left open leaving emotions no place to hide. So you sit in the dark biting down on your tongue Hoping pain will not let strength all come undone. Your child gives you hell and speaks out in hate And your guilt chews you up and your tears make you late. To stand on your own when you need some support Is the loneliest thing that I ever have thought. Please send me a hug, someone? :o(

{{{SUE}}} You deserve a big hug Sue, I know just how hard things can be, after losing my Wife at 31 years of age. I brought up two fine boys, single handed, so I know exactly just how you must feel at times. Just go to a mirror and SMILE at YOU. That works for me. It's infectious. Just try it. Take care, Steve :o)

Hugs and hugs, Sue. Breathe slow and easy, maybe seven to ten seconds between inhales (normal at-rest breathing is three seconds), and continue for two minutes. The day should brighten. Old trick -- from Old Me

Thanks my friends. I needed the pick-me-up. Between my mirror cracking while I'm smiling at it and the lack of oxygen while breathing slowly, I'm getting back on track. Hugs to you all!
