Description

It's been a long time since I've posted anything - all my time has been spent at work. Things seem to be calming down a bit now though, so I'll hopefully be able to get out once in a while to take some new pictures that I can show you all :) This one was shot on the last day of november - we have enough snow for skiing in the mountains, so I packed up my telemark gear and found a nice mountain to lay down some tracks. While skinning up I just had to stop to capture the view behind me as the sun was nearing the horizon. The spot I was standing in had just fallen into shadow, and the time was only 14:30 - and although I would have preferred to have better light for the descent, the look of the low sun hitting the nearby mountains made it all worthwhile nonetheless. Location: Norway, on the west-coast about an hours drive from my hometown Molde.

Welcome back Erik ;o)))) and with a so beautiful mountain. the light and the two parts illuminated and blue with the shadow are really a wonder ! I love the mountain, and the way she has to change his light. Magic !!!!
